- U.S. stocks rose sharply Wednesday as investors bet the weak GDP reading would keep the Fed’s stimulus going. Investors know that they need the Fed’s stimulus going in order for the market to be up, they’re heavily reliant on it.
- The Dow Jones industrial average jumped 150 points, or 1%. The Nasdaq gained 0.9%, while the S&P 500 jumped 1%.
- The first quarter the economy grew 1.8%, economists were expecting that it would’ve been 2.4%, which led to weak economic data.
